I grabbed my board and headed to the beach at 6 am. I wanted the beach to myself with no distractions. Living in Chicago, I only got the chance to surf in the summers so I haven't surfed in a few months. But hey, its like rising a bike: you never forget. I wore a coral bikini under a loose tank top and denim shorts. I striped them off when I reached the beach and grabbed my board and headed into the crashing waves.

"Woah." I said to myself as I watched a huge wave coming towards shore. At this point, all my other senses were heightened as I paddled on my yellow and white board. "C'mon," I murmured, suddenly standing up on my board just before I crashed into the wave. I grinned as I balanced successfully, then began to laugh. For no apparent reason. Oh, Lord.
The water sprayed my bare back slightly as I noticed Lo in the water a few yards closer to shore. I waved and dove off my board.

I caught someone waving to me out of the corner of my eye in the distance. I squinted and saw it was Riley and I paddled over "Fancy seeing you here" joked

I smiled and paddled towards her. "I knew I'd see you in the water!" I said, my legs dangling on either side of my board as I nodded.
